Autobiography of a Mental Health Disorder Project Having a mental health disorder is not rare. Many people, including well-known actors, athletes, scholars, entrepreneurs and others who have contributed to society have a mental health disorder that they have struggled with. Many of our personal lives have been affected by mental illness as well. As a nurse, you will encounter mental illness every day, it is important to develop an understanding of what it may be like for the person living with the diagnosis. You will write this paper from the perspective of one inflicted with the disorder.
